Why do some people get in crush relationships and others do not?

I mean, in some cases they probably know there’s no way they are going to stay with each other for that long even if they want to, but it just shows their lengths of loyalty and love for eachother

Obviously I don't know about everyone in the world but as far as I know, teenage relationships in my school didn't last, and one couple did last and they got together at the age of 14 and got married at 22.
