Room searches at residence Halls
Are the University allowed to search your room for drugs, if some were found elsewhere in the flat? I have a meeting today because illegal substances were found in the flat. Will they be checking everybody's rooms to find out if there are more, and if so how much notice would they give?

They can if they suspect illegal activity. It will be a police thing though I would imagine or at least a security thing and with anything to do with entering your room it usually is 24h notice but check your contract.
