Why is it so hard?
Being a guy, it probably sounds peculiar that I was so attached to my sister. But we are only a year apart and she meant to much. Yet I had to give her away to another family.

Probably because you loved her as a sister and she did so much for you. Alongside being a sister she was a friend and it grieves to not see her everyday.
