Do you get a choice in where you are deployed?
As far as I'm aware, deployment is done by regiments. The army website says the Light Dragoons & Royal Welsh are deployed in the Baltic States and that the Yorkshire Regiment & Royal Artillery in Afghanistan.
Obviously it isn't an exhaustive list, however, is there a way to opt to be deployed to specific places at all?
