MSci in UK vs BSc in Ireland?

9 weeks of research of is a BSc, everybody does that (length of time of a degree, doesn't mean the qualification is equal)
Integrated Masters - you do an entire two terms of research, in an established research lab and then write a final report which can be as long as needed (mine for chemistry was 77 pages)

I know some PhD places want either a 1st BSc or a 2:1 Masters
But if the position requires an MSci or MSc or even MPhys, your BSc won't be accepted
