Mpharmacol vs Msci in pharamcology

Is an Mpharmacol degree the same level as a Msci in pharamcology?
Mpharmacol means master of pharmacology, so it should be a masters degree right? If so, how is it possible for the University of Bath do this degree and a placement year all within 4 years?
Normally when you do Msci, you get a Bsc also, do you get a bachelors degree for this course also?

MPharmcology amd MSci are both 'Undergraduate Masters' - typically a 3+1 degree that includes a research element.
Unis give degrees different titles - and it doesnt mean anything significant. Its the 'M' bit that is important.

At Bath, the 4-year MPharmacol degree includes a placement in a pharmaceutical company, research institute etc and also a significant research project, giving you experience of conducting original research. There is also a 4 year BSc in Pharmacology which includes a longer placement but no additional research project. It just depends if you see yourself going into academic/research or working in industry. And btw, you can switch degree pathways once you have started at Bath if you arent entirely sure about this last bit.

Thank you.
I was just confused because I didn’t think it was possible to do a masters and basically a placement year within 4 years.
