CGP for A Level AQA Biology and Chemistry?

Hey all, I recently did my GCSEs which included triple science, and i got 3 9s in all 3. This was using CGP and nothing but those books. They were a god send but people have been saying that for A-Level, they don't cover the whole spec, so I'm a bit apprehensive. Also, I heard that even theGCSE CGP guides weren't good enough so I don't know what to believe :frown:

At A level i didnt do AQA i did OCR for chem and Edexcel for bio. I would recommend using the CGP for A levels as they give you most of the details that you need however its if you dont understand something it may be better to also use a textbook in addition to the CGP for further explanation. For bio i found the CGP Books to be especially helpful with core practicals as they give you many details you need to be able to pass the module (core practicals are only pass/fail).
