- Living by the sea, local beaches and Dartmoor National Park was hugely beneficial. There were so many places to visit with friends and let off steam – I feel very connected to nature so it was important I wasn’t in a total concrete jungle!

- I was able to take advantage of the hefty list of societies and clubs – I joined sailing having had no previous experience and I loved every minute of it.

- There are always so many opportunities here – as an English undergrad, I wrote for a lot of different publications which boosted my CV. I also had access to Santander Scholarships; I applied and won a £4,200 scholarship to learn Spanish in Spain!

- I received so much support when I suddenly fell very ill through my second and third year. My faculty was incredibly accommodating and understanding which is how I thrived and achieved firsts in my modules.

- It’s quite far from major cities like London (but in my opinion, the location is worth it and we do have good transport links to negate this)

- I genuinely can’t think of any other cons!
