What is the best way to revise GCSE History? I am doing Elizabeth, Cold War, Nazi Germany and Crime and Punishment. Thankyou!

1. Go to classes and then make good solid notes combining textbook and what you learned in class.
2. Be consistent about this
3. If there are areas you dont understand then read again or try a different source until you get what happened, when and why.
4. You can then make timelines showing the sequence of events and some key dates, the other way very suited to history are to make mindmaps showing the event and all the influencing people and factors. You also need a set of revision notes- reduce your main notes by 66-75%.
5. You then start doing exam papers, with books, without, untimed and then timed.
6. When marking use the mark schemes and see what they wanted, what you got, what you missed and what you didnt understand.
7. Carry on practising.
