Exam results of btecs and Ctec?

I'm very worried after hearing from friends how hard it is now doing these vocational courses. That the whole of the U.K. Aren't achieving distinction or distinction* in the exams, maybe in the coursework yes but not the exams.
Could you pls tell me what you got? Because even in the re sits there isn't any improvement.

And it seems the Cambridge techs are the worst

For example, getting A's and B's in GCSEs but then the next year doing Cambridge techs and only getting equivalent to a D or E , when you had an A in the same subject the year before. Then re sitting and still not getting even a Distinction (A) .
So I asked around in schools and heard it was the whole of the uk.
it's the exam that's a problem
