What to wear to a nightclub

So saw someone on Facebook earlier ****ging off a local (small) nightclub because it lets in people wearing jeans. Kinda confused by this was always under the impression it was tracksuit bottoms that weren’t allowed but jeans were fine have seen people wearing them at high end clubs. That same person also complained about people being let in wearing boots, converse and a tone of other stuff. All this stuff seemed to be aimed towards guys by the way nothing about what girls were wearing. So what are guys supposed to wear to a club a suit since converse, boots, jeans, Tracksuit bottoms, denim jackets, leather jackets, casual t shirts, polo shirts and about a billion other things are banned. Or is it just this person being a whiny b*tch because in the local village she is known to be like that
