You only get ideas by doing some research to explore what issues there are and how suitable they might be for an EPQ.
What sort of research have you read? 20 articles should highlight what the issues or areas of interest are in cardiology.
New scientist, BMA journal, broadsheets, just google. Medical EPQs tend to be scientific, medical technique, ethics or NHS.
Could be over time, could be uk or worldwide. Just find out whats going on.
