Which universities score heavily using gcse results for medicine?

Hi educake

All universities will differ in terms of their entry requirements for Medicine.

I would recommend that you start researching which universities you are interested in and having a look on their website at what qualifications and grades they need you to have in order to apply.

I hope this helps

Cardiff and Oxford require pretty well perfect GCSEs.
Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh may let you drop an A* or 2, dependent on subjects and entrance exam results
Leicester, Nottingham, Liverpool, Dundee, Kings, Aston, Lincoln and QUB use GCSEs and UCAT - a weaker perfromance in one may be compensated for by a stronger performance in another
HYMS use GCSEs, UCAT and SJT
The others have GCSE minimum requirements which vary from zero (Cambridge and Newcastle) to 7As (Manchester)
