A 16 year old will think that 32 is old. 32 is definitely not middle-aged.

Haha why ask on TSR? Of course people here would think so as the average age of TSR is like 19 years old.

Exactly. A 33 year old will think a 32 year old is young.

To me it isn't, but then I'm a little older than average for here.

I don't think I considered 32 'old' even when I was 16/18/20, though... just 'older'.

32 is definitely not middle-aged!

Nevertheless, it will be "old" to the vast majority of people of this forum.

32 is old. In the past people died at that age.

IMO you're past your prime if you're over 20

Well, when I was 16 I'd have seen it as absolutely ancient .. now that I'm 29 however, I see people in their early 30s as much younger!! Haha.

Bet you wouldn't say that when you're that age.

I don't think I'll change my mind, I'll probably be having an existential crisis while trying to cure ageing

Dunno, old compared to what, I think i'm 38

One think i'll say about 30's is it's when i'm starting to definitely notice people aging 'well' or...'less well'

I really think you will, in fact I hope you will because what's the point of existing if you keep thinking "I'm too old, a few hundred years ago I would have died already".

Remember at the age of 32, most would still live another 40+ years just based on the current life expectancy (I'm assuming you're a teenager, so still 10+ years of hopefully scientific progress to come) . Many would live 50+ years and some even more.

To watch Teletubbies? Sure.
To claim a pension? Nope.

Context needed...

I'm 18 and I don't think 32/33 is old... But then as people above have said, it depends on context. Old for what?

There was also a huge infant mortality rate, so 5 would be old by that logic.

Not really. It depends on context and is relative to your own age. When you're 9/10 you think 18 is old and then you get to 18 and realise it's not old at all.
