Aww thank you!! And no worries at all, I was predicted A*AA so I was a bit surprised when they offered AAB but very relieved in case my maths doesn’t go to plan! Xx

Do you qualify for a contextual offer? If so, it's not too surprising. Either way, congrats!

I’ve just looked into it on their website and turns out my postcode is eligible so I think you’re right! I’m surprised because I know loads of people here who have been or are going to university, plus I live only down the road from one (non-RG) ! Thank you for suggesting it, I think that must be why so yeah I think it is contextual
anyone applying for mechanical engineering?
What course are you applying for: Mechanical engineering
What other universities are you thinking of: Cambridge, Warwick, Southampton, Imperial
A level / IB / Higher predicted grades: A*A*AA
GCSE grades: 9999999988
Extra curriculars: regional youth board, netball captain, maths leader of learning at my college
Why Nottingham: Needed a uni with slightly lower requirements for my 5th choice, good opportunity for study abroad (rona permitting)
how has warwick given me an offer before notts such a phat L lool

Thank you!! My predicteds were A*AA, and I’m sure they’ll get back to you ASAP! I heard on here there may be only one law admissions tutor going through them all right now so they may take a while to get through
Any EEE offers?
Just got an offer (AAB) for mechanical engineering about an hour ago!!!

Received an offer for integrated masters in Physics with European Language (A*AA/A*A*B)

Also applied for Oxford, Imperial, Bath and York (invited for interview).

A levels: Physics, Maths, Chemistry, French (predicted A*A*A*A).

GCSE 9999999866.

Extra curricular: Air Cadets (senior positions and completed the highly competitive and intense qualified aerospace instructors course), huge amounts of volunteering (including gold DofE). Currently in selection for CVQO Westminster award. Play euphonium to grade 5/6 level and teach others in a brass band (also arrange and compose a little).

Nottingham: Lovely place, great physics course with good language opportunities. Has good research in physics such as hydrodynamic black holes.

I am predicted ABB (Art, Biology & Psychology) and I want to study Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience which is AAB. Is it worth applying? Or shall I take a gap year??

You can still apply bc I think unis would be more flexible this year. If your dream uni doesn't accept you then maybe consider taking a gap year
I'm predicted AAB so technically I meet the requirements for MPharm in notts, but is it competitive? My grades are marginal. U of Nottingham is probably my top choice. Do you think I will receive an offer from them if my personal statement is decent?

Because I am predicted ABB but I need AAB to study psychology at Nottingham, would being eligible for contextual help me get an offer?
