Perhaps the filter needs changing/ cleaning....or yeah the bag needs emptying.
Reply 6
My hoover had this problem, had to clean the filter out and it sucked harder.

So many chances for a sexual joke.

If only we were talking about irons, id have more input!

Change the bag/empty the vaccum if it's a bagless one.

And I thought this thread was gona be something totally different. It disappointed me!

It's a dyson, so no bag. Emptied the thing as well and my father has cleaned the filter but it's all to no avail! :frown:

I'll tell him to buy another!
this thread sounded a lot more promising

you could buy a new one ( yes, you have no money, but still, I don't think there is another way...)

ah...still disappointed by this thread's context
Vacuum cleaners differ from women in both the degree of sucking they do and how they suck. Men have won Darwin Awards by not recognising this, as apparently vacuum cleaners have little fans in, that chop your penis up.
Empty it's load :p:
I thought this thread would be dirty.

Get a degree in prostitution or sex studies.
get another hover and clean every where inside your hover - take as many parts off as you can and give everything a thourough clean, change filters/bags and thing that can be changed, get a pipe cleaner/pencil and push it down all the pipes just to clear blockages.

Empty it's load :p:

I think this is the best advice in this thread so far, in light of its versatility.

It's most likely blocked somewhere - do you not have a guarantee, considering it's a dyson?
either the bag is full up

blockage in the pipe - you can test this by disconnecting the pipe and see if there is stil lsuction without the pipe connected.

the filter is clogged - more than likely - replace or clean it out
Can't you ring Dyson and ask them what to do?

Surely you have a manufacturer's guarantee or something that came with it.
