Midwifery Bursary

Last year (I believe) the government announced all nursing/midwifery students will get £5000 maintenance payment. I read up on the UK Gov website but it is very confusing.
I will be starting my midwifery course in September 2021 and will be getting only £4000 maintenance loan since I live in a high earning household. However, I will not be getting any financial help from my parents. Using this £4000 I won’t even be able to cover my Uni halls rent. Will I be entitled to the £5000 midwifery payment on top of my normal maintenance loan?
Thanks

Hi I’m looking into applying for a msc pre reg in nursing
From my knowledge I am aware that nursing and midwifery students are eligible for a £5000 grant each year
Maybe have a look at this website on how to apply for it ?

Good luck and all the best xx

Thanks! Do you know if the grant would interfere with the normal maintenance loan? i.e. I would get less money
