I think my grade is wrong

Hi all,

yesterday I received my overall module result for module TT284. I did better then expected in the Overall examinable score (OES) component, achieving 84%. My Overall continuous assessment score (OCAS) was not so great, but still got 68%. For this I have been awarded a grade 3 pass.

This is where I am a little confused. The overall assessment comprises of 50% of marks being awarded to the OES, the other 50% of the marks is given to the OCAS.

So, to me my overall module result appears to be 76% of the total marks achievable in this module. According to the Open University grading scale, this should achieve me a grade 2 pass (70–84%). Am I right? or am I missing something really obvious?
