How long will cifas stay on my account

Hi, My cifas filing was first party fraud..... basically opening a account for fraudulent misuse.... It's going to be 3 years this January 2022. I was wondering how long this stays for.. as its not on my credit report but i can't open a personal account.

CIFAS markers stay on for 6 years - you'll have the marker until 2025. You'll need to go to a credit union or get a prepaid card.

6 years - so January 2025. Until then youll find it hard / near impossible opening anything financial.
