I have just started Year 1 and have achieved an A*AA in Fine art, Chemistry, and Biology.

In that case ask the department that you want to transfer into ASAP. There may not be any space or you may have missed too much teaching to move over. If they say that they’d be happy to receive you, you can then speak to your current department to get the necessary transfer process initiated.
