I think Birmingham it has better weather. York is more up north so it can rain a lot (i mean a lot). Whereas Birmingham is further south and has better weather and has a better environment overall - trust me go to Birmingham it also has more opportunities.

York is beautiful, more aesthetically pleasing, but Birmingham is huge. There's so much to do there and the nightlife is pretty good.

Yeah york looks pretty but can be boring and the rain there isnt nice. Birmingham is more fun and bigger
Any city will be better than Birmingham.
