If i fail 3 GCSEs will it prevent me from joining a sixth form

Hey I am confident that I am going to fail French, Geography and Computer science
However, I am predicted an 8-9 in maths, biology and chemistry
a 7 in English Language, English Literature and GCSE PE
and a 6 in physics
Will these 3 poor grades prevent me from joining a sixth form and will they override my good grades?
For sixth form I am wanting to study maths, biology and psychology
As long as you don't fail English Language and Maths (so get a 5 or above) and do well in the subjects you're going to be taking at sixth form, you shouldn't be rejected.
Best of luck!

im certain it wont but it does somewhat depends on the school ur going to as most sixth forms have an overall point requirement, which is based off of ur grades. Typically 9 = 9 points, 8 = 8 points and so on but I do know some schools do this differently so please check with the sixth form u applied to. most of the time they only take the points from ur best 8 GCSEs so failing 2 GCSEs will not count to this overall point score. So as long as you don't fail english language, maths and the required subjects for the a levels u wish to take and you achieve the point requirement set by the sixth form then you'll be fine. Good luck in ur exams!
