day in the life of a 2nd year medic! 🩺

hey everyone!!

i'm a struggling 19 y/o (now) second-year medic who goes to a med school in london !! med is HARD and I am probably the world's biggest procrastinator - so I thought making one of these would keep me motivated. will be updating this frequently as a continuation of my (not so) daily 1st year blog last year! hope you enjoy x

I'll try to post my daily work schedule everyday (but knowing me, no promises here!)

Soooo, I'm only a week into 2nd year and I'm already slacking off - I've been very cheeky and I've been missing lectures the day after clubbing which is not very GMC-approved-professional of me. I really do not want a repeat of last year where everything piled up by exam season and I was a living MESS. so this week I will be focusing on getting into the momentum of studying whilst also enjoying myself by socialising and going to societies  im also thinking of joining the gym this week which is funnnn (:

to do today
- pharmacology ankis
- vasopressin ankis

will be treating myself to a chill day today as lectures are full on tomorrow and im also too lazy aha

I had it yesterday and it went pretty well!!
All my feedback was good  The only thing to improve on was self belief. They said I seemed a little bit nervous (but it wasnt bc of the comms skills, i started my period and desperately needed to go to the toilet but we werent allowed to leave ) SO IM GLAD THATS DONE WITH

The patient was so sweet aswell
