Unit 2
For the content of the notes, structure and inclusions are useful, along with research on the factors mentioned at the start of the paper.
I've found it best to follow the structure provided within the mark scheme (also useful for inclusive content).
Activity 1:
- Aims and Objectives
- Research and Analysis
- Justification
Activity 2:
- Mix, Message and Media
- Budget
- Timescale
Plus presentation and structure for both.

If anyone wants to work together after the part A. Or whoever already has done part A let me know. Instagram- _a.h.22_
Part A is not being released until tomorrow. After speaking with my teacher during class today, I have come to the conclusion that:
- We cannot take the annotations or notes home to continue overnight, like last time;
- Many people were caught out using the same format, so they have forbidden people from sharing information and going through the Part A.
No I mean like we can talk about the part A we don’t need to send any type of format or anything. We can do just general talks like what info is useful.

I was simply stating that it will be different for those retaking it, since it was much more lenient last year.

hi guys im your guardian angel

Market research (Market Size, Share, Structure)
Market Size
- As of (year), the market is expected to grow by around (statistics) according to (who ever made the statistics)
- The information is reliable due to (why). It is also valid as it is recent (why).
- An estimated £?? is expected to be spent on (market name or product they make) by (year)
- How much does the business generate?
- Compare size of market with another business
Market Share
- Tell us the market share and how its set up
- How much of the market does the leading competitor have?
- There most recent total sales compared to leader
Market structure
- What is this business and market structure (perfect competition, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, monopoly) Perfect competition occurs when all businesses sell the same goods, market share has no bearing on prices, businesses can enter and depart the market with no restrictions, consumers have complete or perfect information, and businesses are unable to set prices.
- How they differ from competition
- Target market
Competitors
Trends
- How people would react to the company and product
- Where is there target market
- What media or promotion method there target market uses most
- Primary research undertaken by (who) suggests that their main demographic of customers is aged ??-??, with a few of these being influencers in the UK. generating more revenue and meeting the objectives set by the owners as a result, building a positive relationship between brand and consumer while also generating more sales and increasing the awareness of the brand.
Reliability and validity of data
Secondary source
- The secondary research in this case study is mostly reliable, with sources including market analyst (name of analyst), as well as (whoever else has made data), with all sources specialising in market analysis.
Research Report (Primary source)
- research is not particularly valid as the sample size is far too small, and data was also only collected on one day, with respondents only including a small age range, this being ??-?? (age), and no respondents including people who don’t need to be there (reasoning). which would have benefitted(company)and helped them with their promotional campaign, while also potentially allowing them to introduce a new range of products.

Justification
P.E.S.T.L.E.
Political
- Brexit
- Elections (how it will make choices of the (company) harder to make)
- war, Russian how that may stop some stuff depends on company
- covid and restrictions it created and people losing jobs and less disposable income.
Economic
- inflation rate
- interests’ rate
- disposable income
social
- Target market who are consumer is age gender and demographics stuff
- Health consciousness
Technological
- Online business
- Social media benefits
- Or innovations such as electric cars and all
Legal
- Employment laws (minimum wage)
- Health safety regulation (hygiene)
- Equal right swithin work place
Environmental
- Climate change
- Cop26 (country leaders come together make decision on environmental stuff so can change way businesses run)
- Recycling

Reliability and validity of the data
The Secondary Research is valid as it comes from a marketing company called (….). it is also reliable because it is reduced recently. As it is produced by a reliable source the research and is un-biased. The primary data is not valid because the sample size is to small (give evidence), it is also biased because it is done by company.
