I just applied to MSc Medical Genetics and Genomics at Glasgow, and so far my application timeline has been like this:
25/11: Application submitted to be processed by Admissions Team 29/11: Application aknowledgement 15/12: Application passed to the School of Medicine Dentistry & Nursing for consideration
Thanks you for your recent application to Medical Genetics,MSc(Med). Your application has now been passed to School of Medicine Dentistry & Nursing for consideration and you will normally be notified of their decisionwithin 14 working days.
16/11: Application returned to Admissions with final decision
Your application has been returned to Admissions and you will be notified of a decision shortly.
Your decision will also be updated on Applicant Self Service.
Well, what is worrying me is the rather short time my application spent with the course department. From 14 working days to 24 hours is quite lightspeed fast. Is it a bad sign? Should I be prepared (even more) for the worst?
How soon after you received the message "Your application has been returned to Admissions and you will be notified of a decision shortly." Did you receive the decision? Thanks!
