Can i fly with eustachian tube dysfunction ?

I had the flu a couple of weeks ago and went to the doctor because i couldn’t hear. I have no pain. They said i have some degree of eustachian tube dysfunction . I have been taking their advised medications and decongestants etc, however i have to fly in 3 days and im worried something may happen. Hopefully it will go away soon or at least before but will it really determine wether or not i can get on the plane? I’ve had mixed advice one doctor said not to go because my eardrum could perforate and another said itll be fine as long as i chew and get some flight ear plugs. Has anyone ever flown with this before? I can’t miss this flight so now im worried.
Ask one of the doctors to write you a fit to fly assessment and then take out travel insurance so if, worst case scenario, something does happen and the flight gets diverted so you can get medical attention, you don't need to pay for the entire flight getting diverted...
