Is It Worth Me Rehashing My Work (IBMS Portfolio) To Prevent This Again?
Hey Guys;
I just handed in a section for my IBMS portfolio (the module of equality, diversity and inclusivity) and the person marking it essentially said I shouldn’t use the term disabled as it discriminates against those who are not disabled by definition but still need additional needs but should instead use the term “Less Abled”.
So I was handed the work back to myself to make the improvements needed that was requested.
Is it worth me going through the rest of my work to change my phrasing or should I leave it as it is as that particular section is designed exclusively for that section of Biomedical Science?
The IBMS portfolio if anyone doesn’t know is essentially a piece of work which you need to complete (after you have finished your IBMS accredited degree) in order to obtain HCPC membership (legally required to become a Biomedical Scientist).
