I think I have no future

I am a 17-year-old sixth form drop out, I left in December 2022, due to the effect on my mental health. I intend on doing 3 A-levels at a college this September however the college I had applied to and wanted to get into the most has told that I can't "re-sit A-levels" as I've already had just 2 months of basic experience with a level which by the way I learned nothing from. What do I do?, I have applied to other colleges, but they are further than I'd like for them to be, and the closest college to me only specialises in BTEC, t levels and vocation courses which I have no interest in doing? Also, I am from Manchester that there is a problem in its self.

I think your best bet is to re-approach the college who've told you that you can't "re-sit A-levels" and explain that's not what you're trying to, as you only spent two months studying A levels elsewhere. Perhaps they misunderstood, and assumed that you'd already gone through the whole A level course elsewhere?

Of course, they may still have a policy of saying, "We don't accept candidates who've studied A levels, for however short a period, elsewhere." That would a very strange policy to have, but nothing's impossible. It's more likely that they don't have such a policy and that they just got the wrong end of the stick with regards to your application.
