Vicarious liability

I have a question concerning the application of vicarious liability.
If an employee commits assault AND battery against another employee, could there be vicarious liability as to both the assault and battery separately? Or would there only be one vicarious liability claim?

There would be two claims there but I imagine if you were able to establish vicarious liability for one, you would be able to establish it for the other too (unless there was an argument against that being the case in the circumstances).
