EPQ conclusion

I am doing my EPQ right now and I'm writing my conclusion, but I wanted if I had to include any references in the conclusion or the introduction?

Generally you should avoid adding information that requires referencing in a conclusion (you can do it in the introduction but I'd say not to do it as much as in the body of your essay) as the conclusion is a place to kind of wrap up everything from the essay. The only exception is if there's a direct quote you want to put in that sums up and fits with your argument/what you want to say, for example, this is something I did in my own as my final statement:

"As summarised by Henry Marsh, a psychiatric nurse with experience of lobotomies, patients would “feel alright” following an operation, so it was deemed a success, however, “the fact they were totally ruined as social human beings probably didn’t count” (Levinson, 2011), and as such, many were left worse off than before the procedure."

Hope this helps
