Haven’t experienced the university life

I’m in my second year of university and I haven’t been clubbing or out, not even once. I’m someone who is anti social, whenever there is an event I always leave after an hour. I’ve made ‘friends’ but only to talk about coursework. I feel like I’m only doing university for the degree and that’s all I want. I just don’t really want to experience the university life.

Is anyone else doing this too?

Hey there @Izzyaw !
Please don't feel like just because you haven't gone out that you've missed out on the 'university experience'. There's so much more to university than just that and every experience is different. It's completely up to you what you choose to do with your time at university and going out just isn't for everyone. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're not completely isolating yourself, as it's always good to have people to socialise with now and then even if it's not going out. The 'university experience' consists of a lot of things and at the end of the day, you're paying for all of it. it's completely up to you how much or how little you want to optimise that and everyone is different. I'm sure there's a lot of people like yourself and you may not have found them because they prefer to keep to themselves.

Hang in there! It seems like you seem content so you're doing the right thing...
