Kings College London OR University of Edinburgh

Hello!
I have received offers from both, KCL as well as Edinburgh to pursue Masters in Human Resource Management. What will be an ideal choice?
My purpose is to secure a great job, network with high quality and focused individuals and perhaps, and also have a part time job while i'm studying.

Congrats on your offers from KCL and Edinburgh! Both are solid choices, but I'd say Edinburgh is ranked higher overall and in specific subjects, while KCL has a stronger international reputation (at least in my country), which can boost your career prospects. In terms of job opportunities, London offers a wider range of job prospects due to its size and diversity. You might have more chances for part-time work and networking events with HR professionals, but the living costs in London are really really expensive. Good luck with your decision!

You're welcome! I'm actually from Thailand but my name is derived from an Indian word.

As a US student, who uses the GPA measurement like Thai students, I think that KCL is more competitive due to its GPA requirement of 3.5, while Edinburgh has a lower requirement of 3.0. Despite Edinburgh's superior overall ranking over KCL, the QS World University ranking for "business and management studies" places KCL ahead of Edinburgh and on par with Bayes and Bath. Moreover, in specific disciplines, KCL has many social sciences ranked in the top 10 and top 20 in the world. In contrast, Edinburgh boasts numerous top 10 and top 20 rankings in STEM fields. Each university has its own specialisation.
