Dissertation 3rd Yr Uni
I'm entering my 3rd year of uni doing ocean science and marine conservation.
I have to think of a dissertation idea so i can start the process of getting ready for data collection and getting things approved.
I have a rough base idea but wondering if theres any biology/scientists etc that could help me with one aspect.
I want to analyse microplastics and their effect on marine organisms potentially benthic organisms. Is it possible to analyse the effect on them within the time frame of lets say 2 months maximum, i was going to isolate them from the sample and have two controlled samples (one with plastics one without) and analyse growth/reproduction rate. I was wondering if this is scientifically plausible i guess.
If not no worries i'm kinda shooting in the dark here haha
