Should I apply to LSE and/or Cambridge Economics?

I have been predicted A*A*A* in Maths, Economics and Physics. Along with that I am also going to take up Further Maths for an AS level next year. Would it be advised to apply to Cambridge and/or LSE if I don't have Further Maths at the full A Level? Thank you for any advice!!
If you want to go to those universities then applying to them is worth a shot.

You have 5 choices. Using 2 for riskier options is absolutely fine

Apply to 2 reach unis, 2 reasonable unis and 1 easy to get in.

The reach unis are those that are insanely difficult to get in. The reasonable unis are the ones that you have a fair chance. The easy to get in would be those that you are 99.9999% sure of getting in,

The above would be based on your grades.

I would suggest:

Cambridge
LSE/UCL
Manchester
Southampton
York

Thank you for this advice, I will definitely take this into consideration.
How would applying to this list sound...

LSE
Cambridge
UCL
Bristol
York/Newcastle

Or would that be too many reach unis, how strictly should I stick to two?

It depends on your appetite for risk and other back up plans

if you got 4 rejections and only one offer for York/Newcastle would you be happy to accept that offer or take a gap year and reapply with your grades in hand?

No worries.

I agree with @PQ, it would depend on your appetite for risk and your potential backup plans. Every year, we see many students who stretched themselves with too many reach unis and had to take a gap year because they had 1 or no offers.

My position is to stick to 2 or 3 reach unis (at the absolute highest) then 1 reasonable and 1 easy to get in.

I would suggest that you consider

Cambridge
LSE
UCL
York/Manchester
Southampton/Newcastle
