Help, how would I pay for housing?

I'm 28 years old and unemployed, I want to go to university because I'm sure I have found my passion and I want to go for it.

I currently claim housing benefit and universal credit. I've called the university that I'm interested in applying for and they said they'll accept me as soon as I apply.

The problem is I don't know how I will pay my rent without housing benifit, and housing benefit will stop supporting me when I become a full time student right? How will I go about this?

I will continue to live in my flat when I become a student, I don't plan to live in dorms.
Of course, they will stop the bemefit when you have no wage to pay it back. Or at least to stop the benefit as long as you don't earn your money.

My advice: play in a lottery and win a million to pay your house - or wait until you inherit a fortune, if you have rich parents.

I doubt I'd win the lottery lol, & I don't have parents

Research student loans and you could also have a part time job as a student. Depending on the degree, there may be other grants or scholarships you can look in to. I would see if you can get some guidance from the students union

It depends on your circumstances - some students might be able to continue receiving housing benefit but you can't make a new claim. The following website offers a lot of advice:

https://www.turn2us.org.uk/Benefit-guides/Full-time-students-and-benefits/Can-full-time-students-get-help-with-housing-costs#guide-content

You might also be eligible for a scholarship or help from a hardship fund at your uni:

And don't forget to calculate how much student finance you might be entitled to:

If you are planning to study a healthcare course, you may be eligible for additional support from the NHS Learning Support Fund:

@CyrusBlue I just apologize for terms I confused. I didn't distinguish from housing and house mortage. They had different meanings I did not know.
