Hmm well I can't think of any suggestions so I guess I'll have to go for mustard, albeit not on its own...but there are some sauces I've made that call for some which taste great themselves, and a bit of mustard helps egg salad be a lot less bland I will concede

Don't you like mustard because of the spicy flavour?
NOt sure, it's just not something I've ever wanted to add by itself to things. I like other kinds of spicy things but not keen on mustard by itself (or wasabi, not sure if there's a connection there...the spicier things I like tend to be chilli based)
