Good/Prestigious Business Schools for Masters? Help Needed

I'm from India and I am looking to apply to the UK for my masters.
I have an average GPA which is around a 2:1 and translates to around a 69% (GPA 2.76)
I was interested in knowing about business schools beyond Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, Warwick etc, I don't meet their minimum academic requirements.
I wanted suggestions of good business schools for a masters degree in the UK. I am looking at the following three programs: Business Analytics, Marketing & Sustainability.
I have heard Durham, Exeter etc are good schools and they have told me I meet their minimum entry requirements in terms of my undergrad GPA. I am also looking to work in the UK (preferably London as I have fam there) after my masters for sometime.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated, thanks!
Hi @sota111.

Thank you for your message, it is very good you want to pursue business and want to work in London. You might want to put Cranfield university to your list  I will give you couple reasons why it would be worth.

1) First of all, Cranfield business school (School of management - SOM) was ranked Top 10 in the UK and 34th in Europe in the Financial Times European Business Schools 2021 rankings. It was founded in 1965, which means that it offers incredible service to their students for 58 years. Cranfield SOM is triple accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), EQUIS and AACSB.

2) Additionally, Cranfield University, is the UK's only wholly postgraduate university and it specialises in science, technology, engineering, and management.

3) And most importantly, Cranfield offers 20% scholarships for all successful UK applicants who wants to study School of Management.

4) If you want to pursue MBA, than Cranfield SOM was one of the very first institutions in the UK to offer the MBA. Also, from autumn 2023, Cranfield students on the Full-time MBA programme (known as the Transformation MBA) will have the option to spend a month at the Madrid or Turin ESCP campuses, expanding their insights into global business practices. The new international experience forms part of Cranfield’s redesigned Full-time MBA which was placed in the UK top ten in the Financial Times rankings 2023. The programme is also number one in the UK for sector diversity (which assesses the industry backgrounds of students) and for its carbon footprint and commitment to net zero targets.

5) Now let's talk about LONDON. I highly recommend working in London and it is only 1 hour away from Cranfield university. So if you live on campus, in Bedford, or Milton Keynes, you have an amazing opportunity to visit London regularly, especially if you have to attend interviews by the end of your course, or to find an accommodation there.

If you have any questions, please drop a line

Hi @sota111

Exeter is a very highly regarded university in general, and particularly for our business school. Our business school was ranked number one in the UK by the Times in 2022, and as a university in general we are ranked in the top 15 in the UK. Therefore, if you are looking for masters degree that is highly respected, Exeter is a good place to look at!

Our postgraduate Business School subject page offers the full list of our masters courses that might be of interest to you. We have several campuses based in different parts of the southwest of the UK: on our Streatham Campus (our largest campus, based in Exeter itself) you can study Business Analytics MSc and Marketing MSc (amongst other business courses) which may be of interest to you. We also have business courses more focused on sustainability based at our Penryn campus in Cornwall; you may be interested in our Sustainable Business Management MSc course in Penryn if you would particularly like to focus on sustainability and working towards a greener future - an area that I imagine will offer many employment opportunities moving forward.

The different campuses offer a different feel; if you'd like a tight-knit community feel, Penryn might suit you well and is a smaller community near the beach. Streatham Campus might suit you better if you want to be in a bigger university city. Both campuses, however, should offer you a brilliant student experience and a prestigious degree, from my experience!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions
