Freshers events

For the official qmul fresher events do I have to stay till 2 am or can I leave earlier? My campus isn’t near the events locations so I don’t feel safe travelling that far at 2 am.

Congratulations on your place at uni!

You never have to stay out late at uni if you don't want to, and no one should be putting you under pressure to stay if you don't feel comfortable. If you're living with other people who are going to the same events, you can also agree to stick together so you can go home at the same time- they might want to leave early too, and that way you won't have to travel on your own. You can also look out for official events during the daytime, as the university will make sure to run things that are inclusive towards those who prefer a quiet night in.
