You can apply for a logbook so long as youre the registered owner. It'll cost you £25.

If your car is SORN, you do not need a logbook to scrap it

If your car is NOT SORN, you must have a logbook in most cases

They will scrap your car without a log book as long as you can provide a proof of ID
