I don’t want to do btec

I got 4s and 5s in my gcse and i couldn’t get into sixth form to do Alevels at my school but i really don’t want to do btec which is taken place at another school. i also have mental health problems so do i talk to my schools sixth form? will they let me in their alevels?

If you haven't got the grades to sit A-levels in your school, then no, you can't do A-levels. But equally the stark reality is that if you only got 4s and 5s at GCSE you are probably going to struggle with A-levels which are a significant step up from GCSEs. Add to that your mental health issues and you are potentially setting yourself up for a fall.

There is nothing stopping you from doing A-levels later in life. Sort your mental health out and take the path that will cause you the least amount of stress.
