Is a 5 or 6 year med course is better
I am applying to both foundation and main course med. Disclaimer - med isn't easy to get into I know from last years failure of an application but we are being theoretical here, if I was to get an offer in both, which should I go for? I wouldn't mind doing either. The only other thing is i have 2 friends in the med school for the 6 year course already enrolled. I'm not saying I'm picking a uni for friends, it's just having that support will help me out a lot and being closer to family too. I've done a pros and cons list but they weigh each other out so kind of torn. If I get an offer from one and not the other of course that will fix it but I'll wait to see.
Also, the only thing that's worrying for the 6 year is if I don't pass foundation year, I'm stuck on a biological sciences degree. I think that's what's swaying me to the 5 year instead since I'm directly on the med degree.
