Social Work 100 Day Placement
I am studying an apprenticeship with the Open University and voluntary organisation and a requirement of the 100 day placement is that it must be within a statutory organisation. I have contacted around 5-6 local authorities as my university does not sort out placements as I am on the apprenticeship route and have had no luck as they have said that they are already in partnership with other universities and have no capacity. I am not sure what to do now! I cannot find any LA to consider me at all. Are there any other services that are statutory other than the local authority in children social care?
