I've never been to the doctors for a general checkup. Is that normal?
Sorry just curious and had to ask I haven't been to the doctors since I was just over 3. I'm 14 now, and I have had all my vaccinations and things but I've never been for just a general checkup. Or really at all. Lots of my friends talk about going to the doctors loads as a kid. I didn't. Is that normal? Do most people have general checkups?

Very normal in the UK.

I was always breaking bones so I saw a lot of doctors as a kid But not 'just because'.

After you’re a baby there’s no generally check ups until your 50s apart perhaps for cervical and breast cancer. You go to the doctor if you’re unwell.
