I was disowned by my parents and sibling in my mid 20s when I was a uni student.

I am posting anonymously because my parents give a lot of funding for students studying business courses and make large annual donations to uk charities.

My parents got very angry when I wouldn't join the political party that they support.
They got even more livid when I told them I don't disagree with marriage and won't ever get married.
They never liked me and had planned to use marriage to get me out of their lives.
Eventually they realised that nothing would get me to do what they wanted.
