no maths gcse

im applying to uni and apprenticeships however apprenticeships are turning me down due to no maths gcse. i got a 3 and im hoping to retake and pass in may/june 2024. could i still apply to uni with a grade 3 and hope that i pass and they accept or send me offers?

can anyone else relate pls lmk lol

Yes. You would include your GCSE Maths grade 3 in your UCAS application, and also a GCSE Maths grade "pending". Universities who opted to make you an offer would then include GCSE Maths grade 4 or 5 or whatever in their offer conditions. You would be required to attain the grade they specify when you resit.
