What should I study at Uni

Currently studying Biology, Maths and Chemistry with predicted AAB respectively, with absolutely no idea what to do with my life :')

I really want to help people and I really enjoy the practical elements of bio and chem. Trying to avoid working in a big Pharma corp or stuck in an office somewhere. I've considered/considering biochem, biomed, paramedical science but open to other suggestions!

pls help, thanks :smile:
Hi there,

I can recommend 2 great sites to assist you with exploring your future;

1) UCAS Hub: You will no doubt already be familiar with UCAS as it is the site you use to apply to university. It has another couple of features that you might find useful; a careers quiz and personality quiz which they can lead onto suggesting what yo might like to study.

2) Prospects: Another great site to explore you potential pathways - the career quiz is really good and can link you to lots of courses and ways to study.

Other than that, I think the best bit of advice I can give you is to chose a subject that you LOVE as you will be dedicating the next three years to studying it. Go to Open Days and research research research!!!

Have a look at Pharmacy - https://www.bath.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate-2024/pharmacy/mpharm-pharmacy/

Or other job roles within the NHS and then find 'the degree' etc that you need to get there - https://www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/explore-roles/explore-roles

Something like physio? Or do a degree in something that interests you and then consider allied health fields?
