Why do we have a system of needing to submit predicted grades?
- They heavily depend on the leniency of teachers/ schools so it can be very subjective.
- Does not take into account the progress some students make in the run up to their final exams.
- Hence it can be painful if students outperform predicted grades as they may be forced to take a gap year.
