HMRC Pre-Employment Checks?

Hello,

anyone know how long HMRC Pre-Employment checks take?

i know Home Office take a long time as mine have been on going for nearly 4 months and only yesterday i got an offer for a HMRC position i was on the reserve list for.

Joined in a previous campagin. About three to four weeks weeks. Was on the reserve list and I got my offer just before Christmas, cleared the pre-employment checks by mid-January and actually started mid-Feb. They will just want to get it done, get you in before you think about going somewhere else.

Thank you for confirming, i have both positions at the moment lined up but I'm not going to withdraw from any atm, as i need to look out for myself.
