MPhil Sociology at Cambridge - Research Proposal

Hello, I am applying for the MPhil in Sociology (pathway in Marginality and Exclusion) at Cambridge and I am currently in the final stages of completing my research proposal. I wanted to ask if anyone here has gone (or is going) through this same process - if you have any tips especially regarding the structure of the proposal?

I am also curious to know how in depth my proposed methodology has to be given the fact that we are given only 1000 words..
