Transfer to university of Brighton year 1

Hello,

I am hoping to transfer to university of Brighton for first year entry, after doing a foundation year at a different institution. I've already sent a UCAS application and wondering when would I be able to get a response. I really want to start at this university as I believe it would be the best place for me to study my choice of degree (International Business Management) as I hear it's quite diverse and very supportive.

My current university is not supportive at all with a not so great teaching style and I have not made any new friends at all, since the campus doesn't even have anywhere to socialise, and it just makes me so depressed.

Hi!

I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling supported at your current university. The University of Brighton has a lot of support in place for our students and we hope you enjoy your time with us if you receive an offer for transfer.

As the UCAS deadline is coming up, the admissions team are currently receiving a high number of applications, so it may take a few weeks for your application to be reviewed. All Universities have until the UCAS deadline of the 16th May to make decisions on applications received before the 31st January. However, the admissions team endeavour to respond as soon as possible once an application has been received.

Please make sure to activate your Studentview account once you have received the activation email, as this is where your admissions officer will contact you if they need any further details in order to make a decision on your application.

In the meantime, please feel free to view the support available to our Students while you are studying with us.

Wishing you all the best with your application!
